O R D I N A N C E S:



(1) 2nd Reading - REZN-10-17-1988: (Delayed from December 12, 2017) An

ordinance rezoning 5344 Kolb Avenue (parcel # 188-020-019). The current zoning

is LMI (Light Manufacturing and Industrial) zoning district. The proposed

zoning is GC (General Commercial) zoning district. The proposed use is Pest

Control (in Building A) and Banquet Facility (in Building B). The Planning

Advisory Commission recommends approval and the Planning Department recommends

conditional approval. (Applicant: Jarrod Yasenchok) (Councilor Garrett)



(2) 2nd Reading - REZN-11-17-2249: A text amendment to the Unified Development

Ordinance (UDO) to allow for a variance to appeal street design standards; and

for other purposes. The Planning Advisory Commission recommends denial and the

Planning Department recommends approval. (Councilor Henderson)



(3) 1st Reading - An ordinance amending the budgets for the Fiscal Year 2018

beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018, for certain funds of the

Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, appropriating amounts shown in

each fund for various activities; and for other purposes. (Budget Review

Committee)



R E S O L U T I O N S



(4) A resolution approving a certificate resolution adopted by the Hospital

Authority of Columbus authorizing the issuance of its Taxable Revenue

Anticipation Certificates, Series 2018A and its Revenue Anticipation

Certificates, Series 2018B, approving the execution and delivery of the First

Amendment to Contract between Columbus, Georgia, and the Authority; and

authorizing officials of Columbus to take such further actions as are necessary

to provide for the issuance and delivery of said certificates. (Request of

(5) A resolution authorizing Sunday Sales of Alcoholic Beverages at all

on-premises locations within Columbus on Sunday, February 4, 2018. (Councilor

Garrett)
