A Resolution canceling the July 3, 2012 Proclamation/Resolution Session of
the Council of Columbus, Georgia.
WHEREAS, regular Council meetings shall commence at the time or times as
set forth in the rules of procedures by the Council of Columbus.
WHEREAS, Wednesday, July 4, 2012 will be a regular holiday for the Columbus
Consolidated Government; and,
WHEREAS, the business of the Consolidated Government can be properly
conducted without the necessity of a Proclamation/Resolution Session on
Tuesday, July 3, 2012; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3-103 of the Charter, the Council may,
by a majority vote of the Council at least seven days prior to the meeting
cancel a regularly scheduled meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
That the regular Proclamation/Resolution Session of the Council of
Columbus, Georgia originally scheduled for Tuesday, July 3, 2012 is hereby
cancelled.

Introduced and read at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus,
Georgia, held on the 12th day of June 2012, and adopted at said meeting by the
