An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 1858 and 1866 Midtown Drive from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning

District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the

same is hereby amended by changing the aforementioned property of the following

described property from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District to GC

(General Commercial) Zoning District:



All that tract or parcel of land lying in and being part of Land Lot 114,

Coweta Reserve, Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and shown on a rezoning

plat, dated 24 August 2012 by Moon, Meeks, Mason and Vinson, Inc., and being

more particularly described as follows: Commence at an iron stake marking the

intersection of the southerly line of Macon Road and the northeasterly line of

Midtown Drive; thence southeasterly along the northeasterly line of Midtown

Drive 513.99 feet to an iron stake; thence leaving said street line, North 89

degrees 15 minutes 00 seconds East, 61.68 feet to an iron stake and the POINT

OF BEGINNING; thence North 69 degrees 22 minutes 37 seconds East, 57.18 feet to

a drill hole; thence North 64 degrees 45 minutes 00 seconds East, 240.83 feet

to an iron stake on the westerly line ofl-185, thence southeasterly along the

westerly line ofl-185, South 25 degrees 08 minutes 28 seconds East, 474.49 feet

to an iron stake; thence South 77 degrees 32 minutes 40 seconds West, 466.41

feet to an iron stake; thence North 01 degree 28 minutes 48 seconds West, 36.42

feet to an iron stake; thence North 02 degrees 33 minutes 19 seconds West,

371.22 feet to an iron stake and the point of beginning, containing 3.80 acres.



The above-described property is being rezoned subject to the following

condition:



1. Billboards shall not be allowed on this property.

held on the 11th day of December, 2012; introduced a second time at a regular

meeting of said Council held on the day of

members of said Council.
