Description Prior to any holiday closing for the Columbus Consolidated
Government, let?s have the staff to provide notice through CCG-TV to the
public, as well as the news media, to let them know that Metra Transportation
will be running on Columbus Day, as well as any other holiday, but will run a
Saturday schedule. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

Response We currently provide holiday closing information to each form of media
(print, electronic and radio). We also post fliers 2-3 weeks in advance on our
buses, shelters, transfer center, main office and make frequent announcements
on all buses regarding each holiday schedule. CCG-TV is included in this media
distribution and they air holiday closings for us as well.
