An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of
Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 2300 Martin Luther King, Jr., Boulevard from LMI (Light
Manufacturing / Industrial) District to GC (General Commercial) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the
Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the following described property from LMI (Light
Manufacturing / Industrial) District to GC (General Commercial) District:
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Land Lots 80,
Coweta Reserve, Muscogee County, Georgia, being known and designated as all of
?PARCEL A?, as said PARCEL A is shown on that certain map or plat entitled
?Survey of Part of Land Lot 80, Coweta Reserve, Columbus, Muscogee County,
Georgia?, prepared by Moon, Meeks, Mason & Vinson, dated May 9, 2002, a copy of
said map or plat being recorded in Plat Book 146, Folio 66, of the records in
the Office of the Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia, to
which reference is made for the specific location and dimension of said lot.
LESS AND EXCEPT
Commencing at an iron stake located at the southeast intersection of Martin
Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Whitaker Avenue, running North 87 degrees 22
minutes 33 seconds East a distance of 325.0 feet to an iron stake that marks
the Point of Beginning; running thence North 87 degrees 22 minutes 33 seconds
East a distance of 175.0 feet to an iron stake; running thence South 01 degree
00 minutes 00 seconds East 375.0 feet to an iron stake; running thence South 87
degrees 22 minutes 33 seconds West a distance of 175.0 feet to an iron stake;
running thence North 01 degree 00 minutes 00 seconds West a distance of 325.0
to an iron stake that marks the Point of Beginning.

the 14th day of February, 2006; introduced a second time at a regular meeting
