A RESOLUTION
No.
WHEREAS, House Bill 143, pending in the Georgia General Assembly, seeks to
return to county election officials the responsibility of accepting and
maintaining campaign and ethics disclosure forms;
WHEREAS, this Council desires to support HB 143 and urges our local legislative
delegation to the Georgia General Assembly to support this bill.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby express our support for HB 143 pending in the Georgia General
Assembly and urge our local delegation to the Georgia General Assembly to
support passage of this bill. Let a copy of this resolution be forwarded to
each member of the local legislative delegation to the Georgia General Assembly.
