Board Meeting Minutes
September 15, 2009
A Meeting of the Community Development Advisory Council was held at the
Government Center Annex Building, 420 10th Street, September 15, 2009.
Members Present: Lula Arrington, Harold Funderburg, Chuck McDaniel, John
Partin, Arthur Rodgers, Leigh Stewart, Tom Wyatt
Members Absent: Bradford Haines, Daniel Priban, Eddie Roberts, Charles Weaver,
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by John Partin, Chair. A quorum was present.
The Minutes of the June 23, 2009 Meeting were approved as corrected to show
that Dainel Priban was in attendance.
The Board was provided updates on various Entitlement activities to include the
C.A.P.E.R. Report, the annual Housing Month activities, the application release
for funding requests for FY2011, and the status of the Stimulus Funds
projects. The submission deadline for Entitlement Funding applications is
November 30, 2009.
The Board reviewed and discussed the Board Officer positions and the terms of
the current Board Members. The Board decided to table the selection of
Officers until March 2010 so that current vacancies could be filled and the
status of Board terms could be confirmed.
