Board Meeting Minutes
December 15, 2009
A Meeting of the Community Development Advisory Council was held at the
Government Center Annex Building, 420 10th Street, December 15, 2009.
Members Present: Lula Arrington, ,Chuck McDaniel, John Partin, Leigh Stewart,
Charles Weaver
Members Absent: Harold Funderburg, Bradford Haines, Daniel Priban, Eddie
Roberts, Arthur Rogers, Tom Wyatt
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by John Partin, Chair. A quorum was not
present.
The Minutes of the September 15, 2009 Meeting were tabled until the next
meeting due to a lack of a quorum.
The Board was provided updates on the status of the Stimulus Funds programs.
All of the Stimulus funded projects administered by Community Reinvestment are
underway. The Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-housing (HPRP) funds have been
allocated to various local homeless service providers and the assistance should
start during December 2009.
The Board reviewed and discussed the requests submitted for funding for
FY2011. The Board will hold a Called Meeting on January 21, 2010 to review the
recommended budget for the Entitlement funds.
