(1) 2nd Reading ? An Ordinance adopting a Budget for the Fiscal Year 2018
beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018, for certain funds of the
Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, and appropriating the amounts
shown in each budget; and for other purposes. (As Amended) (Budget Review

(2) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance adopting Non-Operating Budgets for the Fiscal
Year 2018 beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018, for certain funds of
the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, and appropriating the amounts

(3) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance amending Article VII of Chapter 13 of the
Columbus Code Solid Waste Collection and Disposal by updating the guidelines
for an offset to the residential rate for low-income households; and for other

(4) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance confirming a Health and Wellness Center

(5) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance providing for contributions to the Columbus,
Georgia General Government Employee's Pension Plan for the Fiscal Year
beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018. (Budget Review Committee)
(6) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance providing for contributions to the Columbus,
Georgia Pension Plan for Employees of the Department of Public Safety for the

(7) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance providing for Government funding of a Major
Disability Income Plan for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2017 and ending

(8) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance providing for Government funding of a Death
Benefit Escrow for the Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30,

(9) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance amending Article IV of Chapter 19 of the
Columbus Code Taxation and License by changing the fee structure for the
non-prorated, non-refundable administrative fee. (Budget Review Committee)
(10) 1st Reading ? REZN-03-17-0424: An ordinance rezoning approximately 0.146
acres located at 1340 29th Street (Parcel # 029-029-008). The current zoning
is LMI (Light Manufacturing and Industrial) zoning district. The proposed
zoning is SFR4 (Single Family Residential 4) zoning district. The proposed use
is Residential. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department
recommend conditional approval. (Councilor Garrett)
(11) 1st Reading ? REZN-03-17-0419: An ordinance rezoning approximately 0.21
acres located at 4602 17th Avenue (Parcel # 032-031-004). The current zoning
is SFR3 (Single Family Residential 3) zoning district. The proposed zoning is
GC (General Commercial) zoning district. The proposed use is new and used auto
sales less than 2 acres but greater than .5. The Planning Advisory Commission
and the Planning Department recommend approval. (Councilor Garrett)
(12) 1st Reading ? REZN-04-17-0663: An ordinance rezoning approximately 0.41
acres located at 4008 University Avenue (Parcel # 069-023-033). The current
zoning is RMF2 (Residential Multi-family 2) zoning district. The proposed
zoning is RO (Residential Office) zoning district. The proposed use is
multi-family residential. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning
Department recommend approval. (Councilor Baker)
(13) 1st Reading ? REZN-04-17-0684: An ordinance rezoning approximately 15.33
acres located at 1301 Victory Drive (Parcel # 023-010-003). The current zoning
is HMI (Heavy Manufacturing and Industrial) zoning district. The proposed
zoning is GC (General Commercial) zoning district. The proposed use is medical
office development. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning
Department recommend approval. (Councilor Woodson)
(14) 1st Reading ? An ordinance providing for the establishment of taxing
districts, including a county-wide general services district and three (3)
urban services districts and three (3) Business Improvement Districts (BID);
providing for the levy, assessment, and collection of taxes for Columbus,
Georgia within such districts for the year 2017 as provided under the Charter
of the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia; providing penalties for
violations of the provisions of said ordinance; and for other purposes.

(15) 1st Reading ? An ordinance providing for the levy, assessment, and
collection of taxes for the public school system of Columbus, Georgia; and for
other purposes. (Budget Review Committee)
(16) 1st Reading ? An ordinance amending the Columbus, Georgia Pension Plan for
General Government Employees, the Disability Income Plan and the Death Benefit
Plan (?the Plans?) to provide that no employees hired or rehired by the
Hospital Authority of Columbus (?the Hospital Authority?) on or after July 1,
2017 may be eligible members of the Plans; and for other purposes. (Budget
