WHEREAS, Mr. John ?Dale? Hester, Director with the Columbus Civic Center,
retired on February 1, 2011;
WHEREAS, Mr. Hester has been with the Columbus Civic Center since August 24,
1992.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful
service of
MR. JOHN ?DALE? HESTER
who has served with the Columbus Civic Center for 18 years. We wish him
happiness and contentment in his retirement.

WHEREAS, Mr. Joe Steed, Jr., Corporal with the Columbus Police Department,
retired on January 1, 2011;
WHEREAS, Mr. Steed has been with the Columbus Police Department since January
28, 1991.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby expresses its appreciation for the diligent and faithful

MR. JOE STEED, JR.
