SUBJECT: Anthony Street - No Parking Anytime
INITIATED BY: Engineering
Recommendation: Approve an ordinance enacting a ?No Parking Anytime?
zone on the north curb of Anthony Street beginning at 1st Avenue running east a
distance of 480 feet to the dead-end.
Background: The Traffic Engineering Division received a request to enact
parking restriction along Anthony Street. The citizen stated that parking
along the street is creating a difficult situation for passing vehicles.
Analysis: The Traffic Engineering Division advised the citizen to petition
neighbors to show support of a ?No Parking Anytime? zone on the north side of
Anthony Street. A petition was received in support of the ?No Parking Anytime?
zone.
Financial Considerations: The cost of installing Official Traffic Control signs
will be derived from the Traffic Engineering operating budget.
Legal Considerations: All ordinances require the approval of Council.
