TO THE CITY ATTORNEY:
MERITORIOUS RESOLUTIONS:
Have the staff to prepare a resolution congratulating Rigdon Road
Elementary School for their test score results, as well as to recognize their
FBI Program; and bring it to the Council at the August 5th Council meeting.

Have the staff to prepare a resolution of condolences for the family of
Sergeant 1st Class Steven J. Chevalier, who was killed in Iraq. (Request of
Councilor Anthony)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:
NORTH LAKE PARKWAY NO PARKING ORDINANCE:
Have the staff to bring back some options regarding the No Parking issue
on North Lake Parkway. (Request of Councilor Davis)
Have the staff to look at our ordinance as it is currently written with
respect to the number of parking spaces required for restaurants and other
businesses. (Request of Mayor Pro Tem Turner Pugh)
Have the staff to look at making it a one-way after 5:00 p.m. (Request of
Councilor Anthony)

GRAFFITI PROGRAM:
Have the staff to have someone to let?s check the stop signs, as well as
parking signs that have been painted with graffiti in the South Columbus area.
Also, let?s provide information to the residents in the area and educate them
on this and let?s encourage citizens to call 311 to report these things.

Have the staff to look at having some trees planted along South Lumpkin
Road.
