WHEREAS, Mr. William T. Womack, Jr., former Inspector Supervisor with the
Engineering Department, died on December 13, 2009;
WHEREAS, Mr. Womack retired on October 1, 1995 after serving 45 years with the
Engineering Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. William T. Womack, Jr. our sincere
condolences and deepest sympathy. Mr. Womack was an outstanding employee with
the Engineering Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mr. Larry M. Buchanan, former Police Officer with the Columbus Police
Department, died on December 11, 2009.
WHEREAS, Mr. Buchanan retired on April 1, 2000 after serving 32 years with the
Columbus Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Larry Buchanan our sincere condolences
