An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 622 24th Street from RMF2 (Residential Multifamily2) Zoning District
to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is
hereby amended by changing the aforementioned property of the following
described property from RMF2 (Residential Multifamily2) Zoning District to GC
(General Commercial) Zoning District:
All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the City of Columbus,
Muscogee County, Georgia and being more particularly described as follows;
Being Lots 78, 79, and a part of Lot 77 as shown on survey of the Hughes Survey
prepared by Moons, Meeks, & Patrick, Inc., dated March 12, 1974.
Commencing at a point at the intersection of the westerly right of way line of
Hamilton Road and the southerly right of way line 24th Street, Thence along
said southerly right of way line South 89 degrees 39 minutes 23 seconds West
for a distance of 120.00 feet to a point, said point being the point of
beginning for the parcel herein described; Thence leaving said right of way
line South 19 degrees 55 minutes 37 seconds West for a distance of 125.00 feet
to a point; Thence South 89 degrees 58 minutes 45 seconds West for a distance
of 92.51 feet to a point; Thence South 89 degrees 50 minutes 53 seconds West
for a distance of 57.75 feet to a point; Thence North 01 degrees 21 minutes 37
seconds West for a distance of 118.57 feet to a point on the aforementioned
southerly right of way line of 24th Street; Thence along said right of way line
North 89 degrees 39 minutes 23 seconds East for a distance of 190.05 feet to
the point of beginning.
Said parcel contains 0.46 acres and is subject to all restrictions, right of
way, and easements of record.

11th day of December, 2012; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of
said Council held on the day of
