I. PROPERTY ACQUISITION - 801 9TH STREET:



Authorization is requested to purchase a 17 unit gated Senior Living

Facility known as Legacy Terrace located on 1.96 +/- acres at 801 9th Street in

the Liberty District from 4th Street Towers, Inc. An agenda report, resolution

II. NATIONAL CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHT WEEK COMMUNITY WEEK AWARENESS GRANT:



Authorizationl is requested to accept a $5,000 grant from the National

Association of VOCA Assistance Administrators for the District Attorney's

Office Victim Witness Program to raise public awareness of crime victim's

rights and services available in our community and the entire Chattahoochee

Judicial Circuit. An agenda report and resolution are attached.

III. FALL LINE ECOSYSTEM RESTORATION PROJECT:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved

accept funds from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, Coastal

and Marine Habitat Restoration Project in the amount of $20,000,000 for

planning, construction and technical assistance on the Fall Line Ecosystem

Restoration Project. An agenda report and resolution are attached.

V. PRESENTATIONS:



Director of Finance Pam Hodge will give a Monthly Finance update.



Deputy City Manager Lisa Goodwin will provide a status report on the Jonathan

Hatcher Skateboard Park.



VI. DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHT:



Director Dale Hester, Columbus Civic Center, will provide an update of the

Columbus Civic Center.

1. 30? Foot Low Floor Trolley Bus (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 09-0034

Scope of Bid

The Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia (the City) is seeking vendors

to provide 30? Foot Low Floor Trolley Buses to METRA on an ?as needed? basis.

The City anticipates purchasing approximately 0-5 buses per year over a five

(5) year period.



2. 4x2 Crew Cab Long Bed Pickup Truck ? RFB No. 09-0036

Scope of Bid

Provide one (1) 4x2 crew cab long bed pickup truck to be used by the

METRA Transit System.

1. Warm Springs Bike Trail ? Phase One ? RFB No. 09-0037

Scope of RFB

This work shall consist of the construction of a multi-purpose concrete/asphalt

trail, designated as Bike Trail, all in accordance with the plans and

specifications. The Contractor shall be required to maintain public access to

all residences located within the project area.



2. Hybrid Low Floor Electric Buses (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 09-0038

Scope of RFB

The Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, is seeking vendors to provide

Hybrid Low Floor Electric Buses to Department of Transportation/METRA on an ?as

needed basis?. This contract will be a five (5) years with the intent to

purchase 0-5 buses per year. Contract renewal will be contingent upon the

mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor.



3. 14-Passenger Mini-Bus (Re-Bid) ? RFB No. 09-0039

Scope of RFB

Provide four (4) 14-passenger mini-buses to be used by the Recreation Services

Division of the Parks and Recreation Department.

1. Rest Stop for Warm Springs Bike Trail ? RFB No. 09-0044

Scope of RFB

This work shall consist of the construction of a rest stop for the Warm Springs

Bike Trail and includes, but is not limited to, rest stop facility, gazebo and

sitting area, bike racks, landscaping, parking lot, sidewalks, etc. The

project site is located at the corner of 28th Street between Warm Springs Road

and Talbotton Road.
