SUBJECT: Donation for Recreation Division of Parks and Recreation
INITIATED BY: Parks and Recreation
Recommendation: Approval is requested to accept a donation of a pool
table by an anonymous donor to be used by the Recreation Division of Parks and
Recreation.
Background: The piano is being donated for use at a Recreation Center for the
citizens utilizing that center. The approximate value is $4,000.
Analysis: Parks and Recreation is requesting to receive this pool table for use
in our Recreation Division.
Financial Considerations: There is no cost to the City as it is a private
donation.
Projected Annual Fiscal Impact Statement: None is expected.
Legal Considerations: Council must approve the acceptance of this donation,
Recommendations/Actions: Approve the donation of a pool table from an anonymous
donor to be used in the Recreation Division.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO APPROVE AND
ACCEPT THE DONATION OF A POOL TABLE TO BE USED IN THE RECREATION DIVISION OF
PARKS AND RECREATION.
WHEREAS, an anonymous donor has requested to donate a pool table to Parks and
Recreation; and,
WHEREAS, this pool table will be of use in the Recreation Division; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to accept a pool
table from an anonymous donor to be used for Parks and Recreation.
