Dear Dan,
Your request on behalf of Linda Pierce, Clerk of Superior Court, was
discussed by the Columbus Council last night, but no action was taken to
restore any funding beyond the Mayor's recommended budget. As it stands now,
the Clerk's budget is at $1,937,752 for FY14.
I know it is of little solace, but Council also took no action with
respect to a $25,000 request made by Chief Judge Gil McBride with respect to
the Superior Court Judges' budget.
