Columbus is my home town where I resided from birth through college graduation
(Auburn). After 26 years in the Army I returned in 2001. Besides the natural
interest that comes from being a citizen, my experience in public or city
activities stems from my being a garrison commander in Korea as a Colonel
(generally equates to the position of city manager) and my teaching public
administration at CSU. I have a PhD in Business with a concentration in Public
Administration. One of my four Masters degrees is in History, which makes any
historical issue an interest.
