I. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATED PROPERTY:



Authorization is requested to accept the donation of 0.101 acres of

land from Georgia Power for the construction of the new bridge on Standing Boy

Road, located near Marina Cove Condominiums. An agenda report, map and

resolution are attached.







II. FY2007 GRANTS - FEDERAL TRANSIT ADMINISTRATION & GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF

TRANSPORTATION:



Authorization is requested to submit two applications and if approved accept

grants in the amount of $1,290,504 from the Federal Transit Administration and

the Georgia Department of Transportation for capital, planning and operations.

An agenda report and two resolutions are attached.







III. STREET ACCEPTANCE - FORTSON COURT:



Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Fortson Court located in Fortson

Service Park. The Department of Engineering has inspected this street and

recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, map and resolution are attached.

1. CPAT Equipment and Media ? RFB No. 06-0065

Scope of Bid

Provide equipment and media for Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) for

Columbus Fire and Emergency Medical Services. The equipment and materials

include Rescue Randy mannequin and harnesses, StairMaster StepMill 7000 PT,

CPAT maze, weighted vests, Essentials of Fire Fighting 4th Edition CD Rom set

37300, a complete IFSTA Manual Library 36912, a complete IFSTA Essentials Video

Library 36246 and a Flow Test Kit.



2. Pool Repairs at Rigdon Park ? RFB No. 06-0070

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit is scheduled for 11:00 AM (Eastern)

on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at Rigdon Park Recreation Center, which is

located at the end of Hawthorne Drive, just off South Lumpkin Rd. Vendors will

be allowed a 10-minute grace period. Any vendor who is not present in the

Rigdon Park Recreation Center within 10 minutes after the time slated for the

beginning of the mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit shall not be allowed

to participate any further in the bid process.

1. Private/Public Partnership for Oxbow Meadows Marina and Hotel Development ?

RFP No. 06-0006

Scope of RFP

Columbus Consolidated Government is soliciting proposals to lease or purchase

City lands and facilities, and to finance, construct and operate a new marina

facility in an inland basin. The facility shall be connected to the

Chattahoochee River and compatible commercial/retail facilities constructed on

areas immediately upland of the basin. Recently, additional upland parcels

have been acquired by the City to be utilized for the development of a hotel

component at Oxbow Meadows.



2. Water Management Service (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 06-0063

Scope of Bid

Provide a comprehensive water management program for the cooling towers,

boilers and closed loop systems operated by Columbus Consolidated Government.

Contract term shall be for two years, with the option to renew for three (3)

additional twelve-month periods. Contract renewal will be contingent upon the

mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor.

1. Naming Rights To The Columbus Civic Center (Annual Contract) ? RFP No.

06-0011

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government is seeking proposals for Naming Rights to

the Columbus Civic Center. The contract period shall be for ten (10) years,

beginning July 1, 2006.



April 5, 2006

1. Pool Repairs at Rigdon Park ? RFB No. 06-0070

Scope of Bid

Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is requesting pool floor repair

services for Rigdon Park Pool. The work includes repairing approximately 280

linear feet of cracks in the pool shell. All work must be completed by May 15,

2006.

1. Procurement Card Services (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 06-0012

Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is seeking proposals from qualified

offerors to provide a credit card program for procurement and travel purposes.

1. Tree Trimming and Removal Services (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 06-0069

Scope of Bid

Provide all supervision, labor, tools, equipment and services required for tree

trimming and removal services on an ?as needed basis? for Columbus Consolidated

Government, Urban Forestry and Beautification Division. Contract term shall be

for two years, with the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month

periods. Contract renewal will be contingent upon the mutual agreement of the

City and the Contractor.

1. Environmental Monitoring Services (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 06-0005

Scope of RFP

Conduct Environmental Monitoring and Compliance activities at two Columbus

owned municipal solid waste landfills, Pine Grove Landfill and Schatulga Road

Landfill. Contract term shall be for two years, with the option to renew for

three (3) additional twelve-month periods. Contract renewal will be contingent

upon the mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor.
