An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 2005, 2007, 2009, 2015, 2019, 2029, 2101, 2105, and 2109 11th

Avenue; 1056, 1058, and 1046 Southern Street; and 2016 and 2020 Comer Avenue

from RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1) and NC (Neighborhood Commercial)

Districts to NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from RMF1 (Residential

Multi-Family 1) and NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Districts to NC (Neighborhood

Commercial) District:



Beginning at an iron pin at the southeast corner of the intersection of Comer

Avenue and Southern Street and thence running N 49 degrees 31 minutes 51

seconds E along the south right-of-way line of Southern Street a distance of

109.66 feet to an iron pin; thence running N 43 degrees 48 minutes 19 seconds E

along the south right-of-way line of Southern Street a distance of 100.71 feet

to an iron pin; thence running N 38 degrees 10 minutes 33 seconds E along the

south right-of-way line of Southern Street a distance of 62.20 feet to an iron

pin; thence running N 31 degrees 47 minutes 12 seconds E along the south

right-of-way line of Southern Street a distance of 48.88 feet to an iron pin;

thence running N 37 degrees 45 minutes 08 seconds E along the south

right-of-way line of Southern Street a distance of 133.66 feet to an iron pin;

thence running S 27 degrees 24 minutes 14 seconds E along the west right-of-way

line of 11th Avenue a distance of 70.10 feet to an iron pin; thence running S

00 degrees 01 minute 13 seconds W along the west right-of-way line of 11th

Avenue a distance of 463.07 feet to an iron pin; thence running S 89 degrees 29

minutes 13 seconds W a distance of 85.85 feet to an iron pin; thence running N

00 degrees 26 minutes 58 seconds E a distance of 34.38 feet to an iron pin;

thence running N 89 degrees 44 minutes 58 seconds W a distance of 39.45 feet to

an iron pin; thence running N 13 degrees 40 minutes 16 seconds W a distance of

76.66 feet to an iron pin; thence running S 70 degrees 30 minutes 14 seconds W

a distance of 29.04 feet to an iron pin; thence running N 24 degrees 35 minutes

36 seconds W a distance of 61.93 feet to an iron pin; thence running S 73

degrees 23 minutes 34 seconds W a distance of 88.51 feet to an iron pin; thence

running S 58 degrees 57 minutes 39 seconds W a distance of 19.86 feet to an

iron pin; thence running N 26 degrees 40 minutes 15 seconds W a distance of

137.27 to an iron pin that marks the point of beginning.
