BIG BOX ORDINANCE:



Have the staff to work with the Planning Division staff to come up with a

reasonable definition as to what vacancy means as it relates to the Big Box

Ordinance. (Request of Mayor Poydasheff)

RESOLUTION FOR COACH HERB GREEN:



Have the staff to prepare a resolution for Coach Herb Green, who just

passed the 500 mark at Columbus State University. Request of Mayor Poydasheff)

RESOLUTION FOR COLUMBUS HIGH SCHOOL:



Have the staff to prepare a resolution for Columbus High

School?s Wrestling Team, who won the State AAA Wrestling

Championship. (Request of Councilor Henderson & Davis)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:



MEDIANS ON BROADWAY:



Have the staff to contact Callaway Gardens to determine their interest in

doing the maintenance on the medians on Broadway. (Request of Councilor

McDaniel)

BIG BOX ORDINANCE:



Have the staff to go ahead and get the Committee back together and look at

coming up with some standards to be developed for those buildings less than

100,000 square feet and incorporate them in this current ordinance. (Request of

Councilor McDaniel)



As it relates to the existing ordinance on delivery times, let?s have the

staff to consider looking at some type of buffering requirements in relations

to delivery activity even if the district is greater than 300 feet. (Request of

Councilor Henderson)



In making the many amendments to the ordinance, let?s make sure the City

Attorney is consulted when drafting the language in the ordinance. (Request of

Mayor Poydasheff)

LONG-RANGE TRANSPORTATION PLAN:



Have the staff to provide a copy of the Long-Range Transportation Plan

that was done by the consultant to the members of Council. (Request of Mayor

Poydasheff))

ATMS/SIGNAL/CCTV/FIBER:



Have the staff to consider going to Atlanta, in the Buckhead area to look

at their system that they currently have in place and to determine if this is

the same system that we are wanting to put in place. (Request of Councilor

Woodson)



Have the staff to look at trying to synchronize the traffic light at St.

Mary?s Road & I-185 south entrance. (Request of Councilor Hunter)





DEARBORN DRIVE TRAFFIC CONCERNS:



Have the staff to look into those concerns of the traffic issues on

Dearborn Drive where there is a sharp turn, as well as it being a narrow road.

Let?s look at possibly putting in some speed tables for this street. (Request

of Councilor Henderson)

HOLLAND DRIVE DRAINAGE CONCERNS:



Have the staff to look into those concerns of some residents out on

Holland Drive that are experiencing some drainage problems. (Request of

Councilor Allen)

HOUSING AUTHORITY:



Have the staff to provide a date as to when will we have a presentation on

the Housing Authority as requested at one of the Council?s Work session. Also,

provide an update on the Peabody Project. (Request of Councilor Woodson)
