Authorization is requested to submit an application, and if approved, accept a

grant for $15,000 from the 2010 Homeland Security Grant Program for maintenance

of equipment that was purchased from the 2008 Hazardous Materials Response

GROVE:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to Cottage Pointe

Court located in Summer Grove. The Department of Engineering has inspected this

IV. CHANGE ORDER MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL

DISTRICT - ROAD FOR BUS TRANSFER STATION:



Authorization is requested to execute a Change Order to the January 26, 2010

Memorandum of Understanding with the Muscogee County School District to provide

for construction of a connector road to a new bus transfer station on a three

acres tract behind the Library, formally known as the Carmike property, located

on the south side of Weracoba Creek. An agenda report, Memorandum of

V. PERMANENT EASEMENT FOR CONVEYOR OVER FORTSON ROAD:



Approval is requested for a permanent aerial encroachment for an overhead

conveyor system into the public right-of-way of Fortson Road approximately 500

feet north of the intersection of Vulcan Plant Road to Vulcan. An agenda report

VI. SPECIAL REACTION TEAM SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH FORT BENNING:



Authorization is requested to execute an agreement with Fort Benning to

provide Special Reaction Team Services by the Columbus Consolidated Government

Scope of Bid

Provide an initial order of ninety three thousand seven hundred and fifty

(93,750) traffic citations to be used by the Columbus Police Department. (There

should be three thousand seven hundred and fifty (3,750) books of twenty-five

(25) using the following specifications:

Five carbonless copies (transferable) with cardboard flap

Perforated

Numbered from G280000 to G373749)

Template for new Uniform Traffic Citation (UTC) can be found at

be for three (3) years for additional ?as needed? purchases.



2. Heating & Refrigeration (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 12-0007

Scope of Bid

Provide heating and refrigeration supplies on an ?as needed basis? to

be picked up and delivered to Columbus Consolidated Government. The term of

the contract shall be for three (3) years

Scope of Bid

The Columbus Consolidated Government wishes to purchase the following

vehicles to be used by various departments of the City:

Option 1: Full Size SUV with Police Pursuit Package (Chevrolet Tahoe or

Equivalent) (Quantity of Thirty-eight)

Option 2: Full Size, 4-Door Sedan (Chevrolet Impala or Equivalent)

(Quantity of Fifteen)

Scope of Bid

Provide tire leasing services to Columbus Consolidated Government, METRA

Transit System on an ?as needed basis?. Contract term shall be for two years,

with the option to renew for three additional twelve-month periods.

1. Muscogee Technology Park Recycle Center Infrastructure

Scope of Bid

The work shall consist of constructing an extension to Pine Grove Road

approximately 1200 linear feet in an easterly direction with all noted drainage

structures, all in accordance with the designated plans and specifications.

The work shall also include the installation of water mains and a force main

sewer. The Contractor shall be required to maintain public access to the

City?s Pine Grove Landfill.

1. Retail Space for Park and Ride at the Talbotton Road/Manchester Expressway

Locations (Re-Bid) (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 12-0005

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government seeks a retail/service business to occupy

space within the new (Rails-to-Trails) Park and Ride locations. The buildings

are located at 3690 Manchester Expressway and 1401 Talbotton Road (See attached

site plan). Successful respondents will provide a service or combination of

services that meet the needs of the City and surrounding market area. While the

City would prefer that the retail services be oriented around trail uses.

Suggested retail services could include but are not limited to; bike rental and

retail, convenience store (no gas sales), newsstand or other similar service.

The two locations may be leased separately.
