A RESOLUTION
No.
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia and the Georgia Department of Corrections desire to
enter into an agreement to cover operations for FY12 at the Muscogee County
Prison;
WHEREAS, such agreements are reviewed on an annual basis and will enable
Columbus to receive reimbursement for certain costs for provision of medical
and other services to inmates;
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Warden of the Muscogee County Prison recommend
approval of this agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby authorize the Mayor to execute the Intergovernmental
Agreement between Columbus, Georgia and the Georgia Department of Corrections
to cover operations and reimbursement of certain costs for FY12 at the Muscogee
County Prison.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
28th day of June, 2011, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
