AN ORDINANCE

AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, BY

ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING ZONE ALONG FIFTH STREET, AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION

OF OFFICIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS INDICATING SAID PARKING RESTRICTIONS,

REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS HEREBY ORDAINS:



SECTION 1.



That it shall be unlawful for any person to park or rank a vehicle for any time

between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM on Sundays, along any portion of the following

described street segment by establishing a No Parking Zone:



Fifth Street, beginning at the east curb of Second Avenue and running east

along both the north and south curbs to the west curb of Third Avenue.



SECTION 2.



That official traffic control signs indicating said parking limits shall be

installed for the roadway segment described in Section 1.



SECTION 3.



That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are

hereby repealed.



Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on
