Council Members

GDOT was concerned about the condition about our roads and likewise I am

concerned in the same manner because he makes a valid point. Maybe we can do

another update so citizens can see how this work. It does bring the question

are we paving enough streets in a timely manner based on the resources we

have. I havent seen any paving going on in awhile and I have some streets that

needs to be checked out. There are about 4 or 5 streets in my neighborhood and

certainly there are a couple of others. My concern is that if we are not

routinely paving the streets continually gets worse. So I am concerned about

that. I hope the Mayor will address that in her upcoming budget. This really

needs to be looked at.

Mayor Pro Tem advised to just bring that back in the work session. If you

would have a presentation about the streets and how they are rated. CM advised

Pam Hodge will bring an update back. (Placed on Presentation list for

January/February).

Woodson ? I wanted to go back on the South Lumpkin Road now they have removed

the trees. Have we come up with some type of beautification for that road? CM

advised it is on the list for streetscape beautification.

I just want to know if it will be in my lifetime.

CM - When we come back to do an update, I will see if we can provide that

information as well. Staff know that has been requested and demanded and they

remind me of it. (Placed on Presentation list for January/February).
