Special Council on Tax Reform and Fairness for Georgians to Host Series of Fact
Finding Sessions
The Special Council on Tax Reform and Fairness for Georgians is hosting a
series of Fact Finding Sessions, so that Georgians can voice their opinions
concerning the state?s tax system. County commissioners are encouraged to
attend these sessions to listen to the discussion and offer a local government
perspective.
If you plan to attend the meeting and address the Tax Council, please submit
your question or issue via the Tax Council website by 5 p.m. the day before the
council fact finding session. Click on the Fact Finding Session tab on the
left side of the page and fill out the form online. Also, if you have
supporting materials to present to tax council members, the Tax Council asks
that you bring 15 copies of the materials to the hearing with you.
Presentations are limited to five minutes.
If you are unable to attend a Fact Finding Session and would like to voice your
opinion to the Tax Council, also submit your questions or comments via the Tax
Council website under the Submit Comments section of the website.
