Sheriff Tompkins,
There is budgetary matter that needs your immediate attention. In reviewing
your FY17 budget, it appears that you have exceeded the amount of budgeted
funds for your Office by $205,642.47. There may be additional invoices and/or
payments that will be processed for expenses incurred during the month of June
that will cause you to further exceed the amount of funds budgeted for your
Office. However, as of right now, the following invoices are outstanding and
payable:
June payment to New Horizons in the amount of $54,203.25
June payment to Trinity Service Group in the amount of $85,530.88
May offsite claims payment to Correctional Healthcare Company in the amount of
$13,853.68
April, May, and June payments to Lightspeed in the amount of $21,183.00
In light of this situation, the City Manager has directed that l add you to his
agenda to appear before Council on August 8th to request additional FY2017
funding pursuant to Ordinance 13-39. If you have an alternative source for
payment of these expenses, please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
