AN ORDINANCE
NO.
An ordinance amending the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) for Columbus,
Georgia so as to amend certain sections of the Unified Development Ordinance of
the Columbus Codes to create Ambulance Service as a special exception use with
additional standards in a NC (Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Chapter 3 of the Unified Development Ordinance is hereby amended by amending
Table 3.1.1 to read as follows:

Ambulance Service SE P P P *
Chapter 3 of the Unified Development Ordinance is hereby amended by creating
Section 3.2.3.1 to read as follows:
Section 3.2.3.1 Ambulance Services
An Ambulance Service shall comply with the following standards listed below.
A. An ambulance service may be located in a Neighborhood Commercial (NC) Zone
as a Special Exception Use as provided in Chapter 10, Article 2, Section
10.2.7.B.
B. An ambulance service shall be limited to six (6) operating ambulances on
site at any time in a NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District.
SECTION 2.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
