I. INTERGOVERNMENTAL CONTRACT - BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS AND HARRIS

COUNTY- SANITARY SEWER SERVICE TO HARRIS COUNTY:



Authorization is requested for the Board of Water Commissioners to

enter into an Intergovernmental Contract with Harris County to provide sanitary

sewer service. An agenda report and resolution are attached. click tab for

II. WAIVING CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS FOR TEMPORARY USE OR SPECIAL

EVENTS:



Authorization is requested to waive Section 3.2.63. C. and G.5(A) of the

Unified Development Ordinance regulating temporary uses and special events

until January 1, 2008 in order to accommodate such uses during the holiday

III. KABOOM - PLAYFUL CITY USA:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept the

title of KaBoom! Playful City USA and proclaim and celebrate Thursday,

September 27, 2007 as "Play Day Columbus 2007". An agenda report and

Scope of Bid

Vendors are requested to provide pricing for only the community weather

station network itself and/or provide the pricing for the provision and

installation of the community weather station network. The network will

consist of eight (8) weather stations and will be used by the Departments of

Engineering and Fire/EMS.

Scope of Bid

Provide all labor, equipment and materials to wash and reseal exterior windows

of the Government Center Tower.

Scope of RFP

Provide Columbus Consolidated Government with inspection services for

rehabilitative housing, including: single and multi-family structures and

two years with the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month

1. Forestry Management Plan ? RFP No. 08-0007

Scope of RFP

The City is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from experienced, qualified

firms to establish forestry management plans for Heath Park (Parkway Avenue),

Dinglewood Park (13th Street), Little Wildwood Park (Wildwood Avenue) and

Shirley Winston Park (Steam Mill Road). The project will be divided into two

phases and is to be completed at the same time.



2. Real Estate Appraisal Services (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 08-0006

Scope of RFP

Provide Columbus Consolidated Government with professional real estate services

in various projects within the City of Columbus involving land acquisition and

disposition on an ?as needed basis?. Contract term shall be for two years with

the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods. Contract

renewal will be contingent upon the mutual agreement of the City and the

Contractor.



3. Safety Inspections of Taxicabs (Annual Contract) ? RFP NO. 08-0008

Scope of RFP

Provide professional service to perform safety inspections of taxicabs.

Contract term shall be for two years with the option to renew for three (3)

additional twelve-month periods. Contract renewal will be contingent upon the

mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor.
