O R D I N A N C E S:
(1) 2nd Reading - REZN-02-15-0343 ? Properties located at 4732, 4740 & 4744
Kolb Avenue is proposed for rezoning from RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1) and
GC (General Commercial) zoning districts to SFR4 (Single Family Residential 4)
zoning district. (District 3-Councilor Huff) (Applicant Habitat for Humanity of
Columbus) The proposed uses are Single Family Detached Dwellings. The Planning
Advisory Commission and the Planning Department recommend approval.
(2) 2nd Reading ? REZN-12-14-2706 ? Properties located at 3071 Williams Road is
proposed for rezoning from RO (Residential Office) zoning district to PUD
(Planned Unit Development) zoning district. (District 2-Councilor Davis)
(Applicant Cheyenne Partners, LLP) The proposed use is Master Planned
Development. The Planning Advisory Commission recommends approval and the
Planning Department recommends conditional approval.
(3) 2nd Reading ? An ordinance regulating vehicular traffic in
Columbus, Georgia by establishing a No Parking Anytime Zone along the western
curb of Hansen Avenue between the northern curb of Porter Street and the
southern curb of 40th Street; authorizing the installation of official traffic
conflicting ordinances and for other purposes. Councilor Buck)
(4) 1st Reading - REZN-02-15-0383 ? Properties located at 4806 &
4814 13th Avenue is proposed for rezoning from SFR4 (Single Family Residential
4) zoning districts to RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1) zoning district.
(District 8-Councilor Buck) (Applicant David Fox) The proposed use is to build
seniors duplexes. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department
recommend approval.
(5) 1st Reading ? REZN-02-15-0384 ? Properties located at 1617 & 1619
12th Avenue is proposed for rezoning from RMF2 (Residential Multi-Family 2)
zoning district to GC (General Commercial) zoning district. (District
7-Councilor Woodson) (Applicant Aaron & Clements, INC) The proposed use is for
an addition to Wade Linen. The Planning Advisory Commission recommends
approval and the Planning Department recommends approval W/Variance to maintain
zero lot line on 12th Avenue.
(6) 1st Reading - An ordinance striking subsections 3-5 (c),(d) and (e) of the
Columbus Code pertaining to prohibited locations for alcoholic beverage
licensees in its entirety and replacing each subsection with new subsections
3-5(c),(d) and(e);and for other purposes. (Mayor Pro-Tem Pugh and Councilor
Davis)
(7) 1ST Reading - An ordinance amending Chapter 5 of the Columbus Code by
permitting veterinarian members to serve on the Animal Control Advisory Board
without regard to residency in Columbus; and for other purposes. (Mayor
Pro-Tem Pugh)
