I. UNIFIED DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE VARIANCE - SIDEWALKS:



Authorization is requested of a variance to the Unified Development

Code (UDO) - City Code 7.10.1 for construction of a new office and storage

building at 3151 Tower Road, Adams Project, to allow construction of the

required five foot concrete sidewalk to be postponed until conditions are met

to require the construction of sidewalk along frontage of this property. An

II. GEORGIA COUNCIL FOR THE ARTS GRANT - THE COLUMBUS MUSEUM:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept a

$15,000 pass-through grant, with no local match, from the Georgia Council for

the Arts Grant, a 2013 Tourism Product Development Agreement on behalf of The

Columbus Museum and to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding as a partner

for submission of the application. An agenda report, map and resolution are

III. ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY - 2101, 2119 AND 2207 FIRST AVENUE:



Authorization is requested for the purchase of three parcels: 2101 First

Avenue .1 acre; 2119 First Avenue .2 acres; and 2207 First Avenue .07 acres

near the Riverfront pavilion directly behind 2200 Block of First Avenue in the

amount of $36,600 from Community Development Block Grant funds. Property is

located in the Second Avenue Redevelopment Area. An agenda report, map and

IV. STREET ACCEPTANCE - CATKIN COMMONS AND THAT PORTION OF SHAGBARK LANE

LOCATED IN SECTION ONE, HICKORY GROVE:



Approval is requested for the acceptance of a deed to Catkin Commons

and that portion of Shagbark Lane located in Section One, Hickory Grove. The

Department of Engineering has inspected these streets and recommends the

November 14, 2012

1. Muscogee County Prison Turn-Out Shed ? RFB No. 13-0022

Scope of Bid

The work includes, but is not limited to, construction of a new 20? x 12?

turnout shed with wooden deck, which will be used to house the gate-working

guards at Muscogee County Prison; removal of existing shed once work is

complete; and installation of all new electrical and mechanical systems for new

service from existing utilities.



2. Mid-Size Vehicles ? RFB No. 13-0021

Scope of Bid

The Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is seeking vendors to provide

the following vehicles:

Option 1: Mid-Size Supercab/Extended Cab, 4x2 Pickup Truck (Quantity of 1)

Option 2: Mid-Size Sport Utility Vehicles (Quantity of 3)

The mid-size supercab/extended cab, 4x2 pickup truck will be will be utilized

by the Storm Water Inlet Inspector of the Public Services Department, Rainwater

Division, to transport one inmate and equipment to inspect storm water inlets

throughout Muscogee County.

The sport utility vehicles will be utilized by the Engineering Department as

follows: one (1) vehicle will be used by an inspector to transport files,

equipment and personnel needed to inspect sites under development, construction

sites, meet with citizens and other departments, etc.; the second vehicle will

be used by a survey supervisor and survey crew when needed to transport

equipment and personnel in their routine duties; the third vehicle will be

utilized by office staff to visit sites under construction, to verify

addresses, meet with citizens, and other reasons. These vehicles are

replacement vehicles.



3. Security Cameras & Accessories for Buses (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 13-0020

Scope of Bid

Provide security cameras, which will be installed on buses of Metra Transit

System. Approximately 0-28 cameras will be purchased each year, on an ?as

needed basis?. The City will only consider bids for GE Mobile View 3000

Digital Video Recorder, which is the standardized security camera for Metra

Transit System. The contract term shall be for one year with the option to

renew for two (2) additional twelve-month periods.

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government wishes to purchase twenty-one (21)

full-size, 4-door sedans (non-pursuit). Fifteen (15) vehicles will be used by

the Columbus Police Department and six (6) vehicles will be used by the

Sheriff?s Office. These are replacement vehicles.

Scope of RFP

Columbus Consolidated Government is seeking a corporation to be the naming

rights partner for the Columbus Civic Center. Vendors have the option to

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government (The City) requires the services of a

qualified provider to acquire and install the specified equipment into the

pursuit vehicles purchased by the City each year; and prepare them for delivery

to the City of Columbus, as a fully functional pursuit vehicle, for use by one

of the Law Enforcement Agencies of the City of Columbus.

1. Aquatic Facility Management of the Columbus Natatorium (Annual Contract) ?

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government is seeking proposals, from qualified

firms, for the management of the Columbus Natatorium, to include: staffing,

water maintenance, supervision and programming; as well as, Pro-Shop and

Concession management. Operation is scheduled to begin June 2013.
