Description Have the staff to have someone to look at #30 Lanier Drive for
some possible code violations, as well as property located at #8 Lafayette
Drive and property at Lady Drive @ Fort Benning Road. The Councilor also
mentioned about overgrown weeds at these location. (Request of Councilor

Response Staff will check these concerns and provide an update. 11/06/06 The
overgrown weeds at #8 Lafayette Drive has been contracted to be cut and should
be completed within 10 days. An Enforcement Officer will take appropriate
action to correct any violation at #30 Lanier Drive. Lady Drive at Benning
Road is not a good location. If you have another address, please provide and
we will follow up. R. Riggs
#30 Lanier Dr. will be written up for condemnation.
#8 Lafayette Dr. - is a vacant lot. # 12 Lafayette we tagged for work without
permits.
2015 Ft. Benning Rd. -corner of Levy Rd. is abandoned gas station. Owner is
Forest Preston. Agent is Paul Mahaffey with Re-Max.
We have been unable to reach Paul but have left message for him to call. Will
follow-up to get grounds cleaned and building secured.
