O R D I N A N C E S:
(1) 1st Reading - Property located at 219 26th Street is proposed for rezoning
from RMF2 (Residential Multi Family 2) zoning district to GC (General
Commercial) zoning district. (3-CA-09-Price) (Councilor Henderson) The proposed
use is for a parking lot. The Planning Advisory Commission recommends denial
and the Planning Department recommends conditional approval. (Delayed from
March 24, 2009 Council Meeting)
(2) 1st Reading - Property located at 5064 Warm Springs Road is proposed for
rezoning from SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) zoning district to RO
(Residential Office) zoning district. (5-CA-09-Jordan) (Councilor Henderson)
The proposed use is for an office. The Planning Advisory Commission recommends
approval and the Planning Department recommends conditional approval.
(3) 1st Reading - Property located at 2004 6th Avenue is proposed for rezoning
from RMF2 (Residential Multi Family 2) zoning district to RO (Residential
Office) zoning district. (4-A-09-Jordan) (Councilor Henderson) The proposed use
is for an office. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department
recommend approval.
(4) 1st Reading ? Property located at the National Infantry Museum site on
South Lumpkin Road is proposed for rezoning from SFR1 (Single Family
Residential 1) zoning district to GC (General Commercial) zoning district.
(6-A-09-Poydasheff) (Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is the National
Infantry Museum and accessory uses. The Planning Advisory Commission and the
Planning Department recommend approval.
(5) 1st Reading ? Text amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance to
correct several typographical errors in Chapter 10 of the Unified Development

(6) (SEU0902-1) Property located at 2236 South Lumpkin Road is proposed for a
special exception use in a SFR3 (Single Family Residential 3) zoning district.
The requested use is for a Day Care Type II. The Planning Advisory Commission
and the Planning Department recommend approval.
(7) Expressing appreciation to Ms. Doris S. Cooper upon her retirement with
