TO THE CITY MANAGER:

RESIDENTIAL OVERLAY AREAS:

With what has happened out at Maple Ridge and what?s been planned out in

the area of the northwest of Williams Road-Veterans Parkway with the new school

going in, there are certain corridor?s that needs to be looked at. Therefore,

let?s have the staff to look at some of those certain corridor?s whereby we

could preserve some of the things that have happened or coordinate some of the

development in the areas as opposed to taking the ?shotgun? approach and just

throw things in these areas. (Request of Councilor Davis)

PUBLIC MEETINGS:

In the future, let?s make sure we provide ample notification to the public

whenever we hold public meetings to allow the people to go and hear these

issues. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)

As it relates to the public meeting on the HUD allocation and housing

issues, we need to look at holding another meeting in order to allow those

citizens who were not aware of this meeting an opportunity to have proper

notification in order to be in attendance at that meeting. Let?s also send

written notice to all organizations that?s involved with the City as it relates

to HUD when we have those kinds of meetings. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)
