SUBJECT: Street Acceptance - that portion of Wisteria Lane, that
portion of Trailing Ivy Court and that portion of Mountain Ivy Drive
located in (replat of part of) Section One, Phase One North Ivy Park

Recommendation: Approval is requested for the acceptance of that portion of
Wisteria Lane, that portion of Trailing Ivy Court and that portion of Mountain
Ivy Drive located in (replat of part of) Section One, Phase One North Ivy Park.
Background: That portion of Wisteria Lane, that portion of Trailing Ivy
Court and that portion of Mountain Ivy Drive located in (replat of part of)
Section One, Phase One North Ivy Park has (20) twenty residential lots. The
streets have been improved and meet the required specifications for acceptance
by the City.
Analysis: A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of
Wisteria Lane, that portion of Trailing Ivy Court and that portion of Mountain
Ivy Drive located in (replat of part of) Section One, Phase One North Ivy Park
all shown upon a map or plat of survey entitled "Replat of Part of Section One,
Phase One, North Ivy Park, Part of Land Lots 231, 232 & 234, 19th District,
Columbus, Georgia" as prepared by Hobbs Smith & Assoc., Inc., dated July 26,
2013, as filed with the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee
County, Georgia, and recorded in Plat Book 164, Folio 19, to which reference is
made for the exact location of said streets conveyed hereby.
Financial Considerations: No City funds are involved until maintenance is
assumed after the two-year warranty.
Projected Annual Fiscal Impact Statement: No City funds are involved until
maintenance is assumed after the two-year warranty.
Legal Considerations: In Accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code,
all dedicated right-of-way must be accepted by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions: Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that
portion of Wisteria Lane, that portion of Trailing Ivy Court and that portion
of Mountain Ivy Drive located in (replat of part of) Section One, Phase One
North Ivy Park
A RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO THAT PORTION OF WISTERIA
LANE, THAT PORTION OF TRAILING IVY COURT AND THAT PORTION OF MOUNTAIN IVY DRIVE
LOCATED IN (REPLAT OF PART OF) SECTION ONE, PHASE ONE NORTH IVY PARK ON BEHALF
OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA.
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying that portion of
Wisteria Land, that portion of Trailing Ivy Court and that portion of Mountain
Ivy Drive located in (Replat of Part of ) Section One, Phase One North Ivy
Park, a full description of property on said deed; and,
WHEREAS, said streets have been improved and meet the required specifications
for acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said streets and recommends
acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That certain deed dated September 3, 2013, conveying Columbus, Georgia
that portion of Wisteria Land, that portion of Trailing Ivy Court and that
portion of Mountain Ivy Drive located in (Replat of Part of ) Section One,
Phase One North Ivy Park be and the same is hereby accepted. The Clerk of
Council is hereby authorized to have said deed recorded in the Deed Records in
the Office of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia. A copy of the
deed is hereto attached and by this reference made a part of this resolution.
