AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY

ESTABLISHING RANKED PARKING ALONG THE NORTH AND SOUTH CURBS OF 11TH STREET

BETWEEN 6TH AVENUE AND 7TH AVENUE AND A LOADING ZONE ALONG THE SOUTH CURB OF

THE SAME BLOCK; AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF OFFICIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS

INDICATING THE RANKED PARKING AND LOADING ZONES; REPEALING CONFLICTING

ORDINANCES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:





SECTION 1.



Ranked parking with a four-hour time limit shall be established along

the North curb of 11th Street beginning 73 feet from the East curb of 6th

Avenue and running easterly for 240 feet.



Ranked parking with a two-hour time limit shall be established along the South

curb of 11th Street beginning 42 feet from the East curb of 6th Avenue and

running easterly for 96 feet, beginning 162 feet from the East curb of 6th

Avenue and running easterly for 42 feet, and beginning 241 feet from the East

curb of 6th Avenue and running easterly for 35 feet.



A Loading Zone with a 15-minute time limit shall be established along the South

curb of 11th Street beginning 138 feet from the East curb of 6th Avenue and

running easterly for 24 feet.



SECTION 2.



That official traffic control signs shall be installed to indicate the

ranked parking and loading zone restrictions described within Section I.



SECTION 3.



That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this

ordinance are hereby repealed.
