A RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the continued recession and tight budget conditions of the
Consolidated Government have led to careful scrutiny of any hiring of employees
for FY14; and,
WHEREAS, this Council desires to allow efficient use of government resources in
approving any personnel which are not currently budgeted at entry level pay
grades; and,
WHEREAS, the Council must approve the hiring of any personnel hired above Step
C in any pay grade during FY14 or as long as the current City hiring freeze is
in effect.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager and/or his designee are hereby authorized to hire the
following personnel in the stated position and pay level.
Probate Court ? New Employee Hired Above Step - C
Employee Name: Alaina Barnett
Job Title: Fiduciary Law Clerk
Requested Pay Grade/Salary: G20J - $56,438.01
The Probate Office has funding in its budget to support request
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the
27th day of October, 2015 and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
