An ordinance regulating access to the Watershed Park located at 3131 Stinson
Street, Columbus, Georgia by prohibiting all use of the Watershed Park,
including fishing, at night; prohibiting boats at all times; authorizing a sign
listing availability; repealing conflicting ordinances and for other purposes.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I
Chapter 4 of the Columbus Code is hereby amended by adding a new Section 4-2.2
to read as follows:
a) It shall be unlawful to enter or remain in the Watershed Park located at
3131 Stinson Street, Columbus, Georgia between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 7:00
a.m., except for those activities supervised or scheduled by the Department of
Parks and Recreation.
b) It shall be unlawful to park or use a boat at said Watershed Park.
c) Fishing shall not be allowed at said Watershed Park between the hours of
6:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Appropriate signs containing these restrictions shall
be posted by the Department of Parks and Recreation.?
SECTION II
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
