A Resolution changing the regular scheduled Council meetings for the
month of June 2017.
WHEREAS, regular Council meetings shall commence at the time or times as
set forth in the rules of procedures by the Council of Columbus, Georgia; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to make a change in its regular meeting
schedule; and hold regular business meetings on June 6, 13, and 20, 2017; and,
WHEREAS, the Council desires to cancel the June 27, 2017 meeting of the
Council; and,
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 3-103 of the Charter, the Council
may, by majority vote of the Council at least seven days prior to the meeting
cancel a regularly scheduled meeting.
NOW, THERFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
A Proclamation/Regular Meeting of the Columbus Council to be held on
June 6, 2017, at 5:30 p.m., Regular Meeting of the Council to be held on June
13, 2017, at 9:00 a.m., and a Special Called Meeting of the Columbus Council
shall be held on June 20, 2017, at 5:30 p.m.; and the meeting originally
scheduled for June 27, 2017 is hereby cancelled.

Introduced and read at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus,
Georgia held on the 9th day of May 2017 and adopted at said meeting by the
affirmative vote of ________ members of Council.
