An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located on the north portion of the GC portion of 1701 Williams Road from GC

(General Commercial) District to RO (Residential-Office) District.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the

Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby

amended by changing the following described property from GC (General

Commercial) District to RO (Residential-Office) District:





Commencing at the iron pin forming the intersection of the east right of way

line of Whitesville Road and the north right of way line of Williams Road; from

said point of commencement running in an easterly direction along a curve

having a radius of 896.67 feet and an arc distance of 388.16 feet to a point;

thence run N 24 degrees 49 minutes 22 seconds E a distance of 172.06 feet to a

point; thence run along a radius of 279.75 feet a distance of 218.22 feet to a

point; thence run N 19 degrees 52 minutes 12 seconds W a distance of 43.11 feet

to a point said point being located on the southernmost dividing line between

Tract "A" and Tract "B"; thence run N 70 degrees 07 minutes 48 seconds E a

distance of 68.92 feet to a point, said point being the point of beginning

(POB) of the proposed Residential-Office (RO) zoning; thence run S 19 degrees

52 minutes 12 seconds E a distance of 284.12 feet to a point; thence run S 51

degrees 54 minutes 27 seconds E a distance of 121.45 feet to a point; thence

run S 84 degrees 56 minutes 16 seconds E a distance of 84.89 feet to a point;

thence run S 51 degrees 54 minutes 27 seconds E a distance of 112.19 feet to a

point; thence run S 13 degrees 20 minutes 19 seconds E a distance of 64.16 feet

to a point; thence run S 51 degrees 54 minutes 27 seconds E a distance of 38.71

feet to a point, said point being located on the dividing line between Tract

"B" and Property of the Georgia Department of Transportation; thence run N 31

196.64 feet to a concrete monument, said monument being located on the western

minutes 28 seconds W a distance of 467.00 feet to a point; thence run S 89

said point being located on the western right of way line of Interstate 185;

the dividing line between Tract ?A? and Tract "B" a distance of 1,016.23 feet

322.07 feet to a point, said point being point of beginning.
