WHEREAS, the United States Environmental Protection Agency has proposed a
Consent Order in the Proceeding Under section 309(a) of the Clean Water Act, 33
U.S.C. Section 1319(a) (Docket No. CWA-04-2016-4778);
Whereas, the Director of Engineering recommends that such Consent Order be
authorized.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
This Council hereby authorizes the City Manager and Director of Engineering to
execute an appropriate Consent Order and any other necessary documents in the
above-styled Administrative Proceeding.
