Received call from Monique Hayes 706-221-7003. Requesting information on
obtaining wheel chair and ramp for her relative. Gave Ms. Hayes information on community
resources, as well as CATOC contact information for assistance. Ramp Project
committee visited Ms. Hayes and other project sites to get estimates and talk
with recipients.
Received call from Lucille Rosa inquiring employment information. Returned call to Ms. Rosa
with contact information for CCG jobs and other local jobs on job search
website, as well as VR services.
Received call from Rene Annis 706-989-3752 / 706-575-0367
Stepangel4@aol.com. Visited Country Buffet on Airport Thruway; bathroom did not
accommodate her in wheelchair. Had questions/concerns about addressing such
issues and who to report them to. Forwarded questions to Danny Cargill and Bill
Duck; waiting for response.
Received transferred call from Hilda Bell requesting information on resources
for visually impaired persons. Gave Ms. Bell contact information for SOURCE Program and
Area Agency on Aging.
Received email from Ilona Preattle with Area Agency on Aging, soliciting my
membership for Aging and Disability Resource Connection Committee. Contacted Brandi
Dawson-King, Connie Freier and Angie Ginter for involvement and membership and
forwarded information to Ms. Preattle.
