I. NATIONAL INFANTRY MUSEUM:



Authorization is requested to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with

the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) and a Memorandum of

Understanding with the National Infantry Foundation for Preliminary Engineering

Activities for the new National Infantry Museum. An agenda report and

resolution are attached.





II. GRANT - BRIGHT FROM THE START SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept

approximately $580,000 in grant funds form the Georgia Department of Early

Childcare Learning Bright from the Start Program for reimbursements of snacks

provided for After School program and meals served to Summer Lunch

participants. An agenda report and resolution are attached.





III. ENGINEERING SERVICES AGREEMENT ? INTELLIGENT TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM PROJECT:



Authorization is requested to execute an Engineering Services Agreement with

W.K. Dickson for engineering and planning development services for the City's

Intelligent Transportation System project. An agenda report and resolution are

attached.





IV. STREET ACCEPTANCE ? PINE SEED DRIVE, WHITE PINE DRIVE AND SEEDING DRIVE:



Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Pine Seed Drive, White Pine

Drive and Seeding Drive located in Section Seven, Garrett Pines. The Department

of Engineering has inspected these streets and recommends the acceptance. An

agenda report, map and resolution are attached.





V. PURCHASES:



Approval is requested of items "A" thru "E":



A. Emergency Repair of Riverbank

B. Annual Maintenance for Mug Shot System

C. Back Support Safety Belts & Safety Vests (Annual Contract)

D. Purchase of Two-Wheeled Coach Type I Medium Duty Ambulance

There will be a post-council meeting directly after council meeting in the

Council Chambers Conference Room to discuss the following issue: Public Safety

Education Incentive.

2. Evaluation Consultant Services for the Columbus Children, Youth and Family

Coalition, Inc. (CCYFC) (Annual Contract) ? RFP No. 07-0001

Scope of Bid

The Columbus Children, Youth and Family Coalition, Inc. (CCYFC) is

looking for an Evaluation Consultant to help evaluate collaborative strategy

implementation and strategy results for child abuse and neglect.

1. Hydraulic Trash Loaders ? RFB No. 07-0005

Scope of Bid

Provide one (1) hydraulic trash loaders to be used by the Integrated Waste

Division of the Public Services Department. The Peterson ?Lightning Loader?

and the Holmac Pac-Mac? models are currently in the City?s Fleet. Mechanics

and operators are trained and familiar with these models. Therefore, these

models are preferred.

2. Recycling Collection Truck ? RFB No. 07-0006

Scope of Bid

Provide one (1) recycling collection trucks with mounted Kann Trough Loader

body (or equal) to be used by the Recycling Division.



3. Refuse Truck ? RFB No. 07-0008

Scope of Bid

Provide two (2) 25-yard and one (1) 16-yard refuse collection trucks to be used

by the Solid Waste Collection Division of the Public Services Department and

the Parks Services Division of the Parks and Recreation Department.



4. Uniform Dress Shoes & Boots (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 07-0001

Scope of Bid

Provide uniform dress shoes & boots on an ?as needed basis? to various

departments of Columbus Consolidated Government (the City). To accommodate

walk-in service on some occasions, successful bidder shall have a business

located within a 25-mile radius of Muscogee County. The contract term will be

for two years, with the option to renew for three additional twelve-month

periods.



5. Heating & Refrigeration Supplies (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 07-0009

Scope of Bid

Provide heating and refrigeration supplies on an ?as needed basis? to

be picked up and delivered to Columbus Consolidated Government. The term of

the contract shall be for two (2) year period, with the option to renew for

three (3) additional twelve-month periods, if agreeable to both parties.

1. Variflow Air filters ? RFB No. 07-0010

Scope of Bid

Provide Variflow (or equivalent) VSC-MB-813, VXC-MB-SP, VSC-MB-804, VSC-MB-803

and VSC-MB-815 air filters to Columbus Civic Center.



2. Sewer Truck ? RFB No. 07-0011

Scope of Bid

Provide one (1) cab and chassis with a combination sewer-cleaning

machine to be used by the Rainwater Management Division of the Public Services

Department.
