Board Meeting Minutes
March 15, 2011
A Meeting of the Community Development Advisory Council was held at the
Government Center Annex Building, 420 10th Street, March 15, 2011.
Members Present: Clementine Cochran, Harold Funderburg, Sally Haskins, Kim
Jenkins, Marvin Moore
Members Absent: Jose Cardona, Andrea Franklin, Bradford Haines, Charles
McDaniel, Claudya Muller
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Harold Funderburg, Chair. A quorum was not
present. No business or actions were taken by the Board.
The Board was updated on the status of the FY 2012 Budget process. As of the
date of this meeting HUD had not released the Entitlement budgets. The budgets
for the CDBG/HOME programs are under review by City Council will be approved by
Council in June 2011.
The Board was informed of the award of NSP 3 (Neighborhood Stabilization
Program 3) funding from HUD. The City plans to purchase, rehab and sale
rehabbed foreclosed properties with the funding from NSP 3.
The Board was provided an update on the status of the 5 year Consolidated Plan,
the Annual Action Plan and the Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing (AI).
The documents are available in draft form on the City?s website. A Public
Hearing will be held April 7, 2011 to begin the Public Comment process.
The Board Members present discussed the attendance status of several Board
Members. Each Board Member present confirmed their respective residency status
as being a resident of Muscogee County.
