O R D I N A N C E S:



(1) 2nd Reading ? Properties located at 3556 & 3562 St. Mary?s Road are

proposed for rezoning from SFR3 (Single Family Residential 3) District to GC

(General Commercial) District. (27-A-07-Morrison) (Councilor McDaniel) The

proposed use is offices/mini-storage. The Planning Advisory Commission and the

Planning Division recommend approval. (As amended) (Delayed from August 7,

2007)



(2) 1st Reading ? A text amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance to

amend Chapter 8, Article 5, Flood Damage Prevention. (35-A-07-Planning

Department) (Councilor McDaniel) The Planning Advisory Commission and the

Planning Department recommend approval.



(3) 1st Reading ? A text amendment to the Unified Development Ordinance that

the category of Auto/Truck Broker be created and permitted in the UPT (Uptown),

GC (General Commercial, LMI (Light Manufacturing/Industrial) and HMI (Heavy

Manufacturing/Industrial) Districts as a principal use. (34-A-07-Rose)

(Councilor McDaniel) The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning

Department recommend approval.



(4) 1st Reading ? Properties located at 8101 and 8103 Veterans Parkway are

proposed for rezoning from SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1)/ GC (General

Commercial) District to PUD (Planned Unit Development) District.

(28-CA-07-Woodruff Brokerage Co.) (Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is

retail, office, live-work, multi-family residential, & single family

residential. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Division

recommend conditional approval.



(5) 1st Reading ? Property located at 466 Andrews Road is proposed for rezoning

from GC (General Commercial) District to LMI (Light Manufacturing/Industrial)

District. (33-A-07-Lomax) (Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is metal

fabrication. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department

recommend approval.



(6) 1st Reading - Property located at 4617 Armour Road is proposed for rezoning

from RO (Residential-Office) District to NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District.

(32-A-07-McKenna) (Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is retail/personal

services. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department

recommend approval.



(7) 1st Reading ? Property located at 8200 Fortson Road is proposed for

rezoning from RE1 (Real Estate 1) District to GC (General Commercial)

District. (36-CA-07-Barry) (Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is a

commercial kennel. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning

Department recommend conditional approval.
