AN ORDINANCE

An ordinance amending the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) for Columbus,
Georgia so as to amend certain sections of the Unified Development Ordinance of
the Columbus Codes so as to allow Convalescent or Nursing Facility in an MROD
(Mill Restoration Overlay District) zoning district as a principal use.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Chapter 2 of the Unified Development Ordinance is hereby amended by amending
Section 2.5.18.B.3 to read as follows:
B. Permitted Uses.
3. Commercial and Personal Services.
(A) Artisans.
(B) Arts and Crafts sales.
(C) Banks and Financial institutions.
(D) Banquet Facility.
(E) Bars and Lounges.
(F) Clinic, Medical or Dental.
(G) Consignment Shop.
(H) Convalescent or Nursing Facility.
(I) Convenience Store, No Gas Sales.
(J) Data Processing.
(K) Day Care Center, Type II.
(L) Day Care Center, Type III.
(M) Dry Cleaning and Laundry Station.
(N) Film and Video Studio.
(O) Gift and Antique Shop.
(P) Health and Fitness Facility.
(Q) Hotel, Motel, or Inn.
(R) Massage Therapy.
(S) Office, Business and Professional.
(T) Office, Medical or Dental.
(U) Outdoor Caf?, Private Property.
(V) Personal Services.
(W) Pharmacy or Drug Store.
(X) Restaurant, General.
(Y) Retail Sales, General.
(Z) Schools, Vocational and Non-academic.
SECTION 2.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
