An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of

Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 6206 Forest Road from SFR3 (Single Family Residential 3) District to

SFR3 (Single Family Residential 3) District with conditions.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the Department of

Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby amended by

changing the following described property from SFR3 (Single Family Residential

3) District to SFR3 (Single Family Residential 3) District with conditions:



All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 42, 9th District,

Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia and being more particularly described as

follows:



Commence at an iron stake marking the intersection of the southerly line of

Forest Road and the westerly line of Courtland Avenue; thence southerly along

the westerly line of Courtland Avenue, 495.25 feet to an iron stake and POINT

OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along said street line, South 03 degrees 22

minutes 07 seconds East, 1020.34 feet to an iron stake; thence leaving said

street line, South 88 degrees 05 minutes 12 seconds West, 1059.77 feet to an

iron stake; thence South 87 degrees 48 minutes 13 seconds West, 454.67 feet to

The above-referenced property is being rezoned with the following condition:



The property shall have the side setbacks reduced from (8) eight feet to (5)

five feet.
