AN ORDINANCE
NO.
An ordinance amending Chapter 19 of the Columbus Code so as to provide
that effective January 1, 2013, all telephone companies shall make due
compensation payments in the amount of 3% of actual recurring local service
revenues pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 46-5-1; and for other purposes.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
Chapter 19 of the Columbus Code is hereby amended by adding a new
Section 19-80 to read as follows:
?Effective January 1, 2013, all telephone companies shall make due
compensation payments in the amount of 3% of actual recurring local service
revenues pursuant to O.C.G.A. Section 46-5-1. Such companies shall comply with
all other provisions of O.C.G.A. Section 46-5-1.?
SECTION 2.
Ordinance No. 73-7 is hereby repealed in its entirety and Code No. 8020
of Section 19-47 of Ordinance No. 84-105 is hereby repealed in its entirety.
SECTION 3.
All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
