TO THE CITY ATTORNEY:
MERITORIUS RESOLUTIONS:
Have the staff to prepare a resolution congratulating the Marshal?s
Department who placed second in the International Law Enforcement Challenge.

SCRAP METALS:
Have the staff to look and see if we can find better ways to tighten up on
the
pawning of scrap metal and appliances in our community. Let?s see if there is a
way to get the State to take a look at this matter and possibly strengthen the
laws
on the books. Also, to consider more harsher ways to punish those persons who
steals scrap metals and appliances; as well as preventive ways to keep these
things from happening. (Request of Councilor Davis)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:
CHANGES MADE TO ITEMS ON COUNCIL AGENDA:
Whenever staff sends materials to the Council members on Friday in their
Agenda packets and changes are made to that material on Monday, we need to
make certain that everyone is advised of those changes that are being made
prior to
the meeting on Tuesday. (Request of Mayor Pro Tem Turner Pugh)
