WHEREAS, Mr. Robert J. Cook, former employee with the Columbus Police
Department, died on April 17, 2009;
WHEREAS, Mr. Cook retired on November 1, 1998 after serving 30 years with the
Columbus Police Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Robert J. Cook our sincere condolences
and deepest sympathy. Mr. Cook was an outstanding employee with the Columbus
Police Department and he will be missed by all who knew him.

WHEREAS, Mr. Freeman Guerry Harris, former employee with the Muscogee County
Sheriff?s Department, died on April 21, 2009;
WHEREAS, Mr. Harris retired on September 1, 1993 after serving over 3 years
with the Muscogee County Sheriff?s Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Freeman Guerry Harris our sincere
condolences and deepest sympathy. Mr. Harris was an outstanding employee with
the Muscogee County Sheriff?s Department and he will be missed by all who knew
him.

WHEREAS, Mr. Hughey retired on June 1, 1977 after serving over 22 years with
the State Court.

We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Thomas W. Hughey our sincere condolences
